UACES: AR Agriculture: Computer Assisted Crop Management Toold: DD60
The DD60 web site of the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service was created to provide cotton specialists,
producers and consultants with up-to-date temperature information and DD60 accumulations for the current year, the
previous year, and for the 30-year norm.
The home page contains three options, and an example of each report is on the following pages.
1. By supplying the county, and beginning and ending dates, a report will be displayed showing a daily accumulation of
DD60 units for date range requested of the current year along with the 30-year norm maximum and minimum temperatures
and DD60 accumulations.
2. By supplying the county name, planting date and date of cut-out, a report will be displayed showing daily maximum and
minimum temperatures and daily accumulation of DD60 units relative to planting date and cut-out date.
3. This report displays max and min temperatures and DD60 accumulations for any year 1987-2006 or for the 30-year norm
for a given county and date range.
Weather Source
The weather data is supplied by the Southern Regional Climate Center - Louisiana State University and is updated at
approximately 1:00 p.m. daily.
